Cyberpower or IBuyPower?

Thread Starter
Sorry for posting in the intel section, but I had no clue where to put this. Anyway, does anyone have experience with either company? I was planning to build my own system (first since I built the ancient Pentium D is my sig rig), but price wise, newegg and either company end up around the same price, and I get a discount if a buy from a pre-built retailer. So, which is better? If either is that bad, I will go newegg. Thanks.

I've herad nothing but bad things with both companies, since they're basically the same, their build quality is poor, their customer service is a joke.

You'll be buying cheap garbage,if you want a decent Pre-built,get a AVADirect PC,much better than iBuyPhail and CyberPhail can ever be

You aren't actually building it your self, just telling them what parts to throw in there.

Build it your self, it will be satisfying, cheaper, and you don't get the piece of junk service they give you.

99% of the advice you will get on this forum will tell you to build your own system. Cyberpowerpc has the best prices without a doubt, but the prices still cannot compare to the cash you will save from buying the parts yourself and putting it together.

In addition to saving cash, you also get to know every little thing that goes into your system. With companies like Cyberpower, you have no idea what brand of HD you're going to get or what stepping CPU etc. Sometimes it's not always about the money

Ya, as much as my heart yearns to build one, the discount that i will get is really tempting. I will probably end up swallowing the price and building my own. Oh well, its fun (and better) anyway. Thanks guys.

CyberPower has great prices...IbuyPower too.

Asking here definitly is the wrong place...everyone is going to say "build your own".

EDIT: Its cheaper to build your own.
