I used to own the P5K Deluxe and loved it, but I've headr that the MARS=PWN.
As far as hard drives I'd go with mine:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136073
I have two of them, and they're great. Forgo the Raptor ultra expensive rip-off.......
As far as memory I would go with a 2x2Gb kit or the Crucial Ballistix 4x1Gb.......my Geil is great. I just got it, and bought some G Skill DDR2-1000 5-5-5-15 2x2Gb and the Geil blows it out of the water.
It's only $95 after MIR.....

I wonder when that would help, to be honest. Of course it will be better than the same HDD with only 16MB of cache, but even between 16MB and 8MB the difference isn't all that pronounced - or at least no one has made a big stink about it. Regardless, I have yet to see any HDD charts with the Seagate 7200.11 Barracudas ahead of the Caviar SE AAKS from WD in transfer speed.

Thread Starter
Awesome, thanks Killa Looking at your system specs it would also seem that I'm heading in the right direction. The NV120 arrived yesterday, and will be snagging the CPU & Mobo after tax refund comes in a couple weeks I'll let ya'll know what I hit with this config then

Anyone got any memory suggestions for me.I have Cell Shock 800mhz Cas5 D9's now but think maybe I should step up to some faster lower latency kit. Will be ordering the Mars ,E8400,Cosmos,Raptor today and I my wholesaler has flat rate overnight shipping so the more I order now the better.Am thinking of trying some Ballistix 8500 or faster.Any thoughts?

Also, should I hold out for a 9600GT due out in a week or two or just keep what I have.

You'd be better off making your own thread for this, I think. How high can you overclock your current RAM?
