look at the multi an vcore. That being throttled? Assuming it went to 10x for the run, that makes more sense.

Hmmm that's possible... But I believe all ESs have unlocked multi's and it seems the stock speed for this particular ES is 2.66ghz or in this case they may have benched @ 3.554 ghz (2.66ghz/333mhz = 8x multi x 444.3 = 3.554ghz) or maybe they actually benched @ 2.66 ghz(assuming C1E and EIST were disabled) ???

-EDIT-

Nice find OP!

-EDIT- #2

Translated text from original link, (BTW it looks like it was a 2.66 ghz 8sec run ,

Nehalem, this is the name of the next architecture of destined Intel to replace the Intel Core Architecture. For reminder with Nehalem Intel will launch his first processor Quad core native, will integrate the inspector memory to the processor and the Hyper Threading will do his big return.

Because everyone was wise, here a small come gift of the canvas: a test on Great PI 1M of a processor of the architecture Nehalem rhythmical to 2,66 GHz be as much as a Core 2 E6750. As the watch cpu-z, the processor has access to 8MO of mask of level 2 and uses a FSB OF 1333MHZ.

Cut reduced picture: 62% of the original size [1024 x's 603] attached Picture

To 2,66 GHz, the Nehalem curls Great PI 1M in 8,328 dry one, if one compares it with one E6750 that curls the same calculates in 15-17s, one sees that the Nehalem is almost two quicker time under Great Pi to frequency equals than the D6750, knowing that on this software the number of hearts does not influence on score.

It is only a single test and first, it is not necessary therefore to pack itself and await the continuation.

wow! if the on die north bridge really helps that much :O

i remember back with my old super talent ram (dead now) pushing those to over 1100mhz (with tight timings) made better super pie times than overclocking the CPU..

so.. if nehalem can do this. with ddr3... i think we got a keeper!
