i just got 4 GB of Ballistix Tracers pc2-6400 800 mhz.from what ive read , after i set the ram speed to 800mhz in the bios of my sig MB , then the only way to increase ram speed is to increase the FSB of my cpu. i would like to know how some guys are getting this ram to clock over 1000mhz. right now i have my FSB at 222 , with a 15x multiplier which gives me 3330 mhz cpu speed. acording to this chart , http://www.overclock.net/amd-memory/...-dividers.html , i would need a FSB speed of 270 to get my ram over 1000 mhz...at that FSB my cpu would be running at 4050 mhz...impossible for a x2 6000+ to achieve. am i missing something? opinions please.....
