Scythe's 120mm fans

Well, it depends on what size, these are the 120mm size.
newegg.com has them all.

I personally like the Scythe's because they are quiet and moves a lot of air.

No problem.

This is the fan that I was actually referring too.

If you want better ones, then it'd be louder, but stronger, like the Yates and Panaflo, but it depends on how many do you need. If you want like 1 I would go with some louder ones but if you need more than 2 I would go for the Scythes or Silverstones.

There is one that is very strong but average with sound called the Sanyo Denki Ace 1011

Look at them and see how you like it.

Not sure about cheap ones - Enermax's UC-12B is cheap and very quiet, but its actual cooling performance isn't going to blow your mind. The 120mm Arctic Cooling FDB fan looks pretty good for the price as well, but I haven't seen one in action personally. All the fans I usually recommend seem to start at around $15, which isn't exactly cheap.

can't get on the site here at college but there are like 8dB case fans, pretty silent

the scythe slipstream 1900RPMs are pretty amazing. move lots of air and are whisper quiet with a fan controller. I find a lot of high cfm fans produce motor noise at low RPMs, no problem with the slipstreams. I have 4 in my case. Fan control is a must though.

Scythe dba/cfm specs are so overrated that its not even funny. That said, the Scythe S-Flex medium and low fans are really nice.

Quiet Case Fans I recommend:
1. Yate Loons - $4 a peice...'nuff said
2. PAPST Variable 120x25mm - If you can still find one and under $15
3. Nexus - Undervolted Yate Loons with a 200-400% price hike
4. Akasa Amber - The amber color does not usually go well with color schemes but a great fan nonetheless
5. Cooler Master Silent - Super quiet fans but airflow is a bit lacking

Case Fans that I would buy:
1. PAPST Variable 120x25MM
2. Yate Loon
3. Sanyo
4. Panaflo L1A, M1A
5. Scythe S-Flex

Fans to avoid like the PLAGUE:
1. SilenX - Overpriced, exaggerated specs, and in my case, spits lubricant and chunk the fan blades at me. 14dba/72cfm = Fan from the future or impossible specs...you decide which answer is more realistic for you >.>
2. Delta - If you don't want little kids possibly losing their fingers while your system is on a tech rack
3. AC Ryan Blackfire4 - They use a mess of hot glue to stick the LED's on the fan case
4. Thermaltake Thunderblade - How is this POS 21dba? It is louder than my 30dba Panaflo...
