Thread Starter
Thinking of buying a nvidia 650i ultra mobo, please could anyone tell me if this is a good board for overclocking? I have a E2140 chip. Also not upto date with chipsets or anything has this got a good one?

Many thanks

Not near as good as the 680i would be. You might get a OK at best overclock out of it.

If your OCing I suggest paying the little extra for the 680i.

I don't recommend it. They tend to hit fsb walls pretty quick from what I've heard. I'd say go for a P35 chipset motherboard. If you need sli, go with a regular 650i, not the ultra version. This all depends on your budget however.

On a budget though and the reviews i had read thought the overclocking was good

I'd say go with a cheap P35 chipset board. DFI, MSI, Abit, Gigabyte make good P35 boards.
