How to overclock this celeron

So i've got a Celeron D 356.. @ 3.33ghz and i was reading that it can hit 5ghz ez or something.. anyways hwo do i go about oc'ing this thing.... HALPMEH

well basically how do i get it passed 3.33 i set the fsb to 200 and i have to reset cmos

Oh man you have alot to learn haha.

Look up the "Intel Overclock Guide" on this website and it'll help you alot.

You have to worry about voltages, RAM speed and timings, your cooling, what motherboard you're using..there's a list.

hmm.. ok i had a celeron 420 that hit 2ghz at 250 fsb..

go by increments. I took the easy root out for stability. I used a software overclocking program, which came with my biostar motherboard, i let it automatically set, then after done, I copied off vcore, fsb, and everything else.

but it's all about trial... good luck read that guide too

so with it being a 533 fsb.. its crap i know i've got an athlon x2.. but push that 133 up by incremints of ten or what?

Sry about double post.. So what i did was go 145 then 155 then 165 at 165 it had to be reset so knowing that 166x4= 664.. i dont think i understand exactly at 155 that comes to 620.. hmmm
