What to do, What to do?

Okay guys, with my recent acquisition of Crysis, I have decided that my tax return will go to the computer (part of it anyway).

Like I said, having recently obtained Crysis, and realizing it actually is slow as hell in some parts (on high.. /cry) my 8800GTS seems to be lacking? Running at 1680x1040 (or whatever the highest widescreen is, i think thats the right resolution.. its 1680 x whatever) it seems to be a little too jumpy, not very smooth, and its bothering me.

So, I'm thinking, should I put in the money to buy another 8800GTS640mb, which might be hard to get and put them into SLI, OR

Sell my current GTS and Buy two 8800GT's and put them in SLI.

I'm looking for whats going to have the best bang for buck. And what has the best future.

I'm a bit rediscent to toss up another 300 on just the GPU, when I could sell it and get 2 GTs for a little more than a new GTS.

Thoughts Guys?

I bet having a Quad would also help. I might nab one of those one the next paycheck.

8800gt SLI would be much better but i would rather you get a 8800GTX,saw a deal here on ocn for 243$,nvm gone now.
as for quad i don't know how much increase you would see, unless you get it to clock high and also at that res the gpu would really hold you back.

Getting a GTX would be kinda pointless. I have a GTS :-D.

I'm really leaning toward the Double GT's. The way the market has been eating these things up is making me think they must be good. And there seems to be a great future in the GT. The eVGA 8800GT coming out looks FANTASTIC.

Any other thoughts?

Damn..

I need more help on this.

Graphics Cards aren't my calling.

So.. I need a future proof SLI option, that is high end, and will be able to play Crysis at 1680x1050 on very high. Another GTS, or 2 512 GTS's? or 2 512 GT's?

Help please, oh lords of teh Graphic card!
