Antec EarthWatts 500w??

Is this PSU any good? I have received mixed opinions on it.

I want good and bad experiences with it. I'm not looking at buying this separately; it comes with the Sonata Designer that I currently have my eyes on for an early-April new-build purchase.

That PSU is made buy seasonic and is very stable from what i have read and what other members here have said. You should have to worry to much. Don't really expect to go SLI or Crossfire with it but it will run a single powerful GPU just fine.

Good, because I sincerely doubt I'll ever SLI or Crossfire. I just don't have a need for it. But I will probably be getting an 8800GS or 8800GT, depending on sales, price, etc. I can't make a single purchase until around April 1st (I sorta have no choice).

Villainstone, I look forward to it. I just hope I remember!

Other members above said all. It is a good PSU and better some 550w or even 600w out there. Sometime, egg has MIR like $39 for it. It is prefect for budget build.

Agreed that is why I bought it. I am using it in a P4 rig, with a7800GS AGP, many fans, opticle, and HDD, plus RAM. Like I said if you are willing to wait a few days more I will give you actual data in numbers as far as how it performs with my setup. Or you could just buy it and test it out with me .
