Sony Ericsson phones (specifically the W series, W stands for walkman) are pretty decent for MP3s. I have a W810i and the camera on it is superb, it gets even better with modded drivers. You could probably find a used W810i for around $100, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a decent phone for $100 without a contract.

My W810i was purchased unlocked and unbranded, but it is usually pretty easy to unlock Sony Ericsson phones. You can do it with the stock data transfer cable and free software. Guides are posted on SE-NSE (http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?act=home) on how to do this, and add neat modifications to the stock firmware (like making the answer call button on the headset jack advance the music by one track when there is no inbound call, and function normally when there is an inbound call).
