The links were a comp using Pelts (extreme) so there was a lot more heat to get rid of so more fans mattered.
But if you just have a simple CPU, GPU there is a lot less heat to get rid of so the rads and fans wouldnt have as much work to do.

Thats not extreme it only had a 320W heat-load, less then a hot OC'ed quad and a 88 GPU...But yeah the more of a load the better temp drops you will get, that pretty basic...
