Fan Config in my cm690

so here is the deal.

i have the 3 coolermaster fans that came with the case i think they spin at 1200 RPM.

i have 1 Scythe Ultra Kaze @ 2000rpm

i have 5 Scythe S-Flex @1600rpm

so where should i put them all.

SPOTS TO BE FILLED.
2-top
1-back
1-bottom
2-front with 5.25 mod
1- side
and 1 on the heatsink

i'm thinking i might mount my TRUE facing the top of the case and cut some holes in the mesh on top.

Let me know what you think!!!

I'd go with the Ultra Kaze on the heatsink, both CM fans up top, and S-Flex fans for the front/rear intakes, bottom intake, and side fan. That's assuming you have the TRUE exhausting out the back though. If you want to exhaust out the top of your case, flip-flop the rear S-Flex and whatever stock fan up top is directly above your CPU cooler (probably the rear one).

leave the rear stock, put 2 sflex in the front (in) and have 2 in the roof (out) have the last sflex on the bottom side panel (in) and flip your psu so it pulls cold air out the bottom too.

you could mount one of the other fans on the inside of the dvd drive bay so its blowing onto your ram to, or have another sucking up thru the base as it also hase another vent there too.

have the 2k on the true, you will get almost no difference in the way your true is facing due to all the air getting pulled out of the case from all sides so fit it which ever way you like the looks of.

do you really think, i always thought that the air flow through the TRUE was a pretty important thing, can't wait for these babys.

put your TRUE facing the back, not up. Put the s-flexes as rear and top exhaust, ultra kaze on the heatsink, last 2 s-flexes as bottom intake and front intake, maybe one of your coolermasters as side intake. Could also set up another fan in the drive bays but if you do that use the front intake sflex and put a coolermatser in the front. Can't use too high of rpm fans for front intake because of all the junk it needs to suck air through.
