Question wouldn't a triple SLI with 8800's from evga and stepping up toe the 9800's once they are released be bttr then the 3870?

i think you'd be better of with the 3870X2 then with triple sli 8800's. Tri sli is not always compatible with all games, it rapes your energie bill and you'll need a bleeding edge mobo

3870x2 in X-Fire would probably work very well also. (Depends on the Drivers)

Heard 3870 drivers aren't yet stable, regarding triple sli he's a pro soccer player doubt money's a matter 2 him he wanted to spend $6000 on his new PC LOL, and the 9800's will blow away the 3870's and he can get a better mobo he did have a $1000 spare -.-
