At 1.325 Vcore (400x8) my cores idle between 15-20.

This website has a great set of reviews on coolers.

Thats impossible unless your room temp is around 10c.

I'd like some proof of that (coretemp will do)

hyper 212 from cooler master.

E8400 running stock 3.0ghz idle below 16c and may go up to 20c while gaming.

Also if anybody knows what that no clue temp is I would appreciate it. Also I have a vantec icberq on my northbridge. Gigabyte P35-DS3L. great board
Thats pretty funny. Maybe you should use a program that will give you accurate temps. Unless of course the room the computer is in is 15C???

What is your chips' VID?
unlucky VID of 1.325v.

need 1.52v in BIOS (horrible Vdroop) to get ~1.46v, that gives ~68, max 70c in temperature with 8800GTX burning (ATI Tool) at the same time for 1 hours.

the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 has apparently outperformed it in Quad Core high voltage Cooling

Could be...
But IMHO, and having both, how can an Ultra 120 (4/8 pipe) out do the Ultra 120 E (6/12 pipe), NOT!
So IMHO, I don't respect that review.

I could be eating crow according to another review though
But the one below out ranks the Ultra120 over the Ultra120 E and the HDT-S1283 in there own site

Thanks Duke, I've been trying to say that all along, I EXTREMELY doubt the xigmatek is better. Grunion was going to be testing it along with his ultra 120 to see what temps were like.

Ok, I think it's definitive. The Ultra 120-Extreme is the best, and that's what I'm gonna use in my new build.

Thanks guys.
