Lookin for some help reguarding OCing 5200+ - Page 2

I did quite well overclocking this cpu... check my sigs.

Lower the ram speed, lower the ht multi too.. but these cpu's can handle 1200-1300 speeds...

Have you tested each component for it's maximum safe limit? Here is the guide that I typically recommend for this process: http://www.overclock.net/faqs/31782-...pu-memory.html

Good luck man

Thanks, ill need all the luck i can get XD

According to CPU-Z, my D-RAM Frequencey is at 273, after putting it to run at DDR2 667 (i think... ill check). my HTT mutiplyer is at X5

Stats:
Core Speed: 2.73Ghz
Bus Speed: 210
Vcore 1.328
Mutiplyer: X13
DRAM: 273 ( correct?)
HT Mutiplyer: X5
HT Link: 1050

Ill post some of my CPU-Z pics... hold on..
Alright, the first pic is of my RAM thats giving me problems, the other one, is of RAM 2 and 3, since they are the same. 3rd pic is timings, 4th pic is of my CPU readout.... hope this helps

god, i hope i can have as much luck as you, but as far as i know, my Vcore wont go any higher then 1.33 ish.... ill run prime 95 and make sure this is stable, then ill try a bus speed of 218 *where i blue screened eariler*

Oh and doitallman, how is the bigwater working for you? im considering buying the bigwater 760i, but i want to hear from someone else who has used thermaltake.

try it running just the ocz gold ram. that 3rd stick might be messing with you. and with that stock cooler keep a really close eye on those temps.

unless that board is that much differnt than mine, the only voltages he can adjust are the cpu and ram.

xxhaloownerxx, did you find the limits of each component yet? Have you tried dropping the processor multiplier and running a higher HT? Try something in between 1200-1300mhz HT.

Good luck
