BTW, Window Vistas little rate my computer thingy is dumb. It scores your computer by the lowest score any of your pc parts get. Example, if you score 5.0 on everything and get a 2.1 on lets say your hard drive then your score is 2.1. The max you can get is 5.0 according to microsoft. I got a 4.1 because my Hard Drive score was 4.1.
I think it only lets you change the multiplier lower, not higher? My x2 5200+ did. i cant go any higher than x13, which is default. can the black editions allow higher multiples?

Ben, I'm pretty sure I've seen BE's up to 16x...if not for sure 15x.

xxhaloownerxx, try running ATITool. I believe it has a feature to check for artifacting ect.

My GPU was artifacting *good call*, ive reverted it to stock, and will try overclocking later tonight.

xxhaloownerxx, that is sometimes the case. It's probably a little difficult testing different versions of the BIOS since Asus boards have troubles reverting back to older versions. Anyone else here with the M2N have comments for this question?

xxhaloownerxx, I believe I updated my Asus A8N-SLI via floppy drive but my DFI was updated through Windows which is extremely risky. I'd suggest updating the BIOS outside of Windows.

Hope this helps

Darn, lol.

ill have to go beg father for a floppy XD

For now, ive been reading some guides, ect. ive seen people get better clocks with a lower mutiplyer, and a lower HT mutiplyer, with a higher Bus Speed, wondering, could this possibly be the solution to my problem?

Perhaps a bios update would fix this.
