I have a 22" acer and a 19" Hanns-G for my dual monitor setup and I can't live without it. The ability to leave Firefox or whatever on one side and have IM, music, whatever on the other is really convenient. Games are played on only one monitor in my case, and I just have FahMon set up with hotkey to disable the second monitor with a keypress.

Hrmm... now you have me convince not to sell my 2nd monitor...
But does the actual video card support one monitor for game, while the 2nd one is on the desktop or is there a special program?

Most games leave the second part of the desktop visible. OpenGL games (Quake, Doom series) seem to black out the second screen, though. Games will display on whichever screen is set as your "Main Display".
