WC install done - Page 3

Great job bro. I am awaiting the arrival of my first WC setup as well. I'll post a log once I'm done, though I hope mine looks half as good as yours! Woot!

I'm just curious.

I took everything out of the case. Install the cpu block on the motherboard, install the motherboard in the case, located a place for the pump and res. I installed the pump and res, measured and cut the tubing to the right size I needed. Then I installed all the tubing with clamps. Took out my motherboard out of the case, filled the res with coolant, plug the pump, fans and uv light to the power supply and jump the power supply. Filled the res as need and let run over night to test for leak..

Hope this helps.

Thats great, I hope you can hit it....Don't forget if your rad starts getting a little hot you can always add 2 more fans in a push-pull..

What are your room ambients 22-24C or so? That load seems a little high to me but I run cool chips to....This 5000BE I was keeping at around 12-14C over room ambient on a full Prime large FFT's load for a hour or so with a 3400mhz OC on plain water...But thats a cool chip and I was throwing hand fulls of WC'ing $$$ at it to...

Hopefully some of the Intel guys can be more helpful......Will you have to raise your v-core a lot to hit 3800 or have you even tried it yet? As long as you can keep it under the max suggested temp's for your chip you'll be OK...You might not want to run that high a v-core 24/7 but thats up to you, I usually do....
