Those temps are quite high considering the voltage you're using. I was getting lower temps at 1.2v on AIR, same final clock speed...ambient 21C. The mount of your CPU block looks good, however as ira-k would suggest () - re-seat it a few times to get a good temp What speed are those fans running at though? That might have something to do with it...

Hopefully some of the Intel guys can be more helpful......Will you have to raise your v-core a lot to hit 3800 or have you even tried it yet? As long as you can keep it under the max suggested temp's for your chip you'll be OK...You might not want to run that high a v-core 24/7 but thats up to you, I usually do....

My room ambient is 24.5C right now. I have not tried over 3.4Ghz its been running on Orthos now for just under 1 hours and getting 55C on load.

How tight to you need to screw the 4 screw on the cpu block? I have the block off right now. Is it better the apply the ACS5 then speard it or just put a small amount in the middle of the cpu and seat the water block?

Honestly, I've never watercooled, but it shouldn't be far different from a lapped heatsink onto a CPU, so in that case a small amount in the middle and squish it down when you screw the block in. I think...

Yeah some more cfm should help....Reseat is great , I usually do it 4 or 5 times on a new block then try to work it back to the lowest one I get....I tighten mine up evenly and fully compress the springs, I tighten them till they wont go any further...A back-plate might help your mount on a s/775 also..Dtek FuZion Intel 775 Pro-Mount set

Great they really seem to help the mounts...I'm used to using a back-plate, without one I would probably snap my mobo in half...

Great I hope it helps a little, it will give you something to do till you get your new fans to...

Did it look like you had a nice even TIM spread on your IHS?

EDIT: You might want to drop your rad if you can and shake it up a little and make sure all the air is out of it, thats a common problem, they can get can get air locked and give you worse temp's to...
