Power supply recomendations...

I am building my first system. I am on a budget so I selected an AMD setup. I would like some suggestions, thoughts or ideas on ths build. I will be using the optical and hdd from my old HP Pavillion a6019h. Oh yeh I do intend on ocing.
As much as I can with air cooling. Check it out.

Honestly, i would go for an intel setup. I know this is an amd forum and all lol.

You can get a cheap E2xxx series cpu and OC it like mad!

Anyway to answer your question on the PSU, the corsair 550VX is an awesome PSU. I highly recommend it.

Well, the Intel Core 2's are clock for clock much better performers than the aging Athlon X2's. Don't get me wrong, the X2's are great chips but for a little more you can get a better processor that you can oc like crazy. I've seen 100% oc's with the E2160. I'm just trying to give you a heads up .

Anyway whats your budget?

Not really anymore, you can get some great budget gear that will perform great.

My CPU was $75 and it's running at 3.1Ghz now.
