LOL@ guys getting offended because they thought their epen15 would be bigger if they went for nVidia rather than ATi, and now 2900XT's hold the world record.

Huh? The HD 2900XTs are single GPU cards. Two HD 2900XTs beat two 8800 Ultras...

You are absoluley wrong.

The score this thread links is from a system that uses TWO 2900XTs - these are single GPU cards released about 8 months ago from ATI.

Moreover, the Ultras were only "on top" for about 3 weeks after their releasal. Soon after, the 2900XT's took the top spot after being the first card to break 27,000k, the first card to break 29k, and now the second card to break 30,000.

Again, these are SINGLE-GPU cards release a while ago from ATI.

It will be interesting once the drivers for the new 3870 X2's are ironed to see what scores people can pull.

Come on guys, he misread the article, or should I say he didn't read it all.

All he read was the opening statement
Quote:
There is a whole range of graphics cards coming, and it wasn't long ago AMD launched Radeon HD 3870 X2
and he went into fanboy defensive mode.

It's a totally normal reaction for someone with the fanboy genome

Just messing with you Killa
