vista's flaws that i just cant stand:
first off id like to say vista really isnt all that visually pleasing even though it hogs every bit of your systems performance.
secondly, trying to dual boot is one of the most disgusting things ive ever seen. vista is practically a bully that refuses to let your other operating systems do anything. i have Acronis OS selector installed and yet i have to reinstall it constantly to stop it from giving me an MBR Error 3 at boot up.
third, i was just playing some call of duty 4, not doing too bad i might add, when vista decided to crash and not let me do a thing about it, which brings me to my fourth point.
*** is up with vista's task manager...i havent had a single case where it actually worked properly and shutdown a program that was problematic. its pathetic.
now comes a more annoying problem. everytime the above happens, it messes up my entire internet connection and i have to go unplug my router and modem, and pray that it will work again, or else i have to keep screwing around with everything to try and get it to connect. it actually said earlier that my wireless hardware did not have the capabilities to connect to my network...
so did i miss anything? or is that the crap that is windows vista.
having the desktop run in a 3D environment is definately worth it.. so what if you have to have a remotely decent GFX card to run it
Learn to google. Vista has its own bootloader.. and theres a easy to use program to change it.. used it myself to get OSX to dualboot on my laptop called Vistabootpro Vista overwrites other bootloaders when you install it, it works fine usually if you install vista last.
CoD4 works seemlessly for me, turn off UAC, and make sure you have the latest patches
Taskmanager works fine for me, but usually i can kill a non-responsive program before i can open it
So now you're blaming your internet problems on vista?
I think you just have a mission to find negativity about vista.
Vista is far superior to XP, no matter what way you slice it the pros far outweigh the cons with Vista.
