Help me choose a motherboard. :)

Thread Starter
Ok so I just destroyed my M2N-E and I need a new board quick. I need one that will be a great overclocker. Not bothered about SLI/Crossfire. I was thinking along the lines of an M2N32-sli or even a Crosshair. Any suggestions?
See sig for my other components.
Thanks.

I say get a P35 Mobo and switch to Intel.

Perfect opportunity since you fried your other one.

Abit IP 35-e will be perfect for under $90 and an e2180 will easily go 3.2Ghz.

I only just upgraded to the 5000BE. Why would I want to swap to Intel anyway? Amd is so much better..........puts on flame proof suit.

Why does he need a new CPU also? His CPU is perfectly fine.?.

Anywho, I'll second your M2N32-SLI. I've used that Mobo in a couple of builds for friends, and never had a problem with any of them. They do OC decent, but I'd say not the best out there though.

It would depend on your price range now I have a P35 Chipset and It's nice (very nice considering the mobo's Price) I would say I made a mistake with buying a Gigabyte Mobo though I would choose an Asus mobo excelent OC Features great BIOS maybe an Asus Deluxe board I like the look of them you should check them out

Yeah I like the look of the M2N32-SLI but I'm getting drawn in by the lights in the Crosshair.

Why don't you get a AM2+ MB so you can upgrade to a Tri or Quad core later. If you don't want dual graphics cards the AMD 770 chipset will do for under $100.

Sorry didn't notice where your from but I'm sure you can find them over there.

the M2N-E is a 570Ultra chipset....I say if you dont need SLI then get a Biostar TForce board like the 560....cheap and it will clock alot better/higher than that ASUS board will...

if you just have to have SLI then check out the 590 boards...
