By the way, if you don't have one, lmk... I've got 2 that aren't being used that I'd be glad to send you.... Funny thing would be if you did not have one though :O

That could come in handy

Are you saying that that had been my most constructive post on the forum? +Rep Me Please lol <--- Not meant to be begging for reps it's just a joke, so please don't warn me

Yeah, all you need is an on/off/momentary switch & a spare 3-pin lead from an old mobo & you're set... Works like a champ I might add.

I think I picked up the switches off ebay for like $2.50 each or summit.

Still, if you want two processors in the future, it wouldn't be a bad idea to buy this mobo and one processor and upgrade down the road. This board does offer alot of upgrade room

but seriously limited to LGA771, considering that nehalem is down the road, are some of the nehalem architectures going to be on LGA771?

Hey CD look what I found today.. It is GO time...

ATI Catalyst 8.3, Hybrid CrossFire and CrossFireX Announced

Advancing Multi-GPU Gaming with CrossFireX
Through three- and four-GPU configurations in CrossFireX, gamers can see multi-GPU performance scaling across a range of today’s most popular DirectX 9 and DirectX 10 games on Windows Vista -- up to 3.2 times the performance over a single GPU2 in some scenarios. The flexible architecture of CrossFireX allows for the mixing and matching of high-performing ATI Radeon GPUs. Any ATI Radeon HD 3850, ATI Radeon HD 3870 or ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 cards can be combined to harness the power of up to four GPUs. CrossFireX also supports a wide range of platforms, enabling many gamers to take advantage of three- and four-GPU gaming on their existing hardware.

8 cores is kinda sick don't you think?
Because, what does support all those threads? I think at the time they will, the skulltrail will be like 'old'.

Well check out this video of Skulltrail in action. First game is Unreal Tournament and the second game is Flight Sim DX10 both resolutions are at 2560 x 1600 in the games. In Flight Sim he gets all 8 cores to 87% Now lets see some benches on Crysis at these Res with no lagging.

Makes me actually want to try Flight Simulator 10. Looks a heck of a lot better than the last time I played it (#1). Damn I'm getting old.
