im using team right now

high clock very tight timing, has a very high stock volt allows alot of room for clocking. tho mine are rated for 1300 so, but im sure the 800s will clock just as easy

go team

ok, team website just got back up... both use 6 layer pcb.. i think i'm gonna get gskill cause its cheaper for the same specs. and if anyone knows the warranties for each company. i'd gladly hear it!

edit: both are lifetime warranty! haha... then again.. i do wonder if i want light blue or black covered ram...

I give my vote for Team.

G.Skill really hit the market hard when Newegg started pushing their DDR2 modules. Team on the other hand has a reputation extremely high-end OCing Ram. My vote goes to Team.

if these are your only option, i only have experience with with 1000's and clock maybe 100 (give or take) more... but if you haven't decided yet, check out the geil esoterias 800 clocking higher than those 1000s i had

doesnt matter if team has a great reputation they chips they use on these will determine the oc you will get not the team rep.. these both use the SAME IC'S they are both powerchips ic's these ARE NOT MICRON D9'S get the cheaper of the two.. both are basically the same sticks

Get the G-Skill 1000s, loads of favorable reviews and OC benchies.
Plus, after sitting stable @ $115 for months, they just dropped $5 (I guess with the release of their new 1066 2x2s)
Some things to ponder:
G-Skill
The 1000s are better binned than the 800s; they both use the same ICs
The 1000s are a nice dark shiny blue, the 800s are a light Pastel/ turquoise.

The GeiL esoteria have been 'redflagged" as their thick CF heatspreaders do not allow population of all 4 memory slots on most boards - kinda defeats the purpose of getting 2GB sticks if ya can't max out at 8GB.
Can't complain about the Team, they score pretty high, and they do make some top-speed modules so maybe their 800s will OC like mad.
I'd go with the G-Skill1000s
