Yea.. this game is gonna own.

its also the first "true" open world shooter.

I bet it runs better than crysis too.. I heard they run the game on a single 8800GTX in pre-alpha stages.

while i do agree, i cant help but remember them laying claim to Crysis running like it was on a 7800 GTX or something. them being Crytek i mean.

or was that a review sight rumour? *cough* Fud *cough*

I wouldn't say its entirely the game to blame. Blame crummy NVIDIA and ATi their programmers suck like hell man. I would sack all of them and hire proper programmers who know how to program drivers oh better yet how about making it open source.

But, FC2 looks good though. I wonder if the PC version will sell better than the consoles *fingers crossed*

its probably a close one. but if a game is out on console it will generally sell more since there's a wider audience. ubisoft obviously took note of this from crysis' 'low sales' and decided to port the game to both consoles to rake in the cash. which it undoubtedly will.

If you guys can't run it maxed out, will you be pissed? I bet you will with the hype that you're creating.

Thats the Sad part...I think its only the top developers are making games for PC now a days. There are only a hand full that produce games for PC which are smaller developers.

no I can't max out Crysis on my crummy card and I still enjoy playing it .

The trailer that was out last year the guys were saying it was running on a maxed out (overclocked?) dual core system (e6850 I think) with the 8800gtx and gettin framerate around 30fps and under but the code wasnt optimized yet.

I'm happy to get 30fps though just like I did at most times with Crysis on customised very high details.

Looks cool and looks like an updated crysis, but I bet this will have problems when it comes out too. Every game with amazing features and all that does, but I'm really looking forward to this.

Do crytek have some sort of foliage fetish? They seem to focus more graphics on grass and tress than anything else.
