One result so far that looks promising. But I'd rather have you judge it.

KGB Keylogger

Wow. Keylogger.org Here's the website's title (on the titlebar of the window), "Independent testing, rating and review of monitoring software." Yeah, this might be a great resource. Bonus!

WideStep Software Development Company
Products are:
  • Elite Keylogger
  • Handy Keylogger
  • Quick Keylogger
  • Elite AntiKeylogger (lol anti! Yeah!!)
These aren't free. The Elite Keylogger is $69. The Quick is $29. I would assume, not based on personal experience with keyloggers, that if it costs money, then there's no risk of having a virus with it.

Key Ghost A Hardware Keylogger

These should get you started! Here is the Google search results page that I was using (I'm using Firefox, so if that link doesn't work, then use this one for IE)

Good luck, and I hope the final decision you make works out the best for you!

Your best bet would be to set a screensaver on a short timer (couple of minutes or so) and have it require a password when it leaves SS mode. It's an annoyance but it would protect you unless they get the password. It's also safer than trying to find a keylogger without a virus in it.

More to come. Keep refreshing every 5 minutes or so.

As for screensaver i would go that way if my friends and other people didnt need this computer for internet access, i also have a few employees that use it as well so i cant lock it out, they need to gain access to certin files and folders.

Oh, and check out the latest edition of that post with all the Keylogger links. You sorta won the race before I could publish the final version!

Edit: Nah, I'll just copy/paste the newest part:

You're welcome, CaNe. Just doing what I do while I'm here on earth.

Now, I do encourage questions on any of those you consider. I have this feeling a few of these good people here will be able to say whether or not it can be trusted. Of course, there's the "don't trust any of them" crowd!

I just had this idea (you probably beat me to it!) If you have a computer store in your area or two, you could see if they carry any of the titles you consider. It's my guess that if it's being carried in the store, then must be 100% safe.
