Good PSU for CM 690? - Page 3

Oh. I forgot to ask: I'm likely going to be running mine 24/7, unless of course I decide to make it go to hibernation after an hour (of inactivity, for those of you taking me literally). Should I also choose 30%?

Maybe. But did you see his review on the Silverstone ST50EF? I understand quite well that even though he recommends it, it doesn't mean I should buy it. But I can't deny the facts in the review. I can't deny that I really liked what I saw. I honestly couldn't care any less as to whether or not a reviewer recommends it. A reviewer could say "I hated it", but I could say "hey, I saw the facts, and that product couldn't be any better for me."

This doesn't mean that I'm not open to suggestions or anything. But I am falling into that trap of being very proud and pleased with what I have created over at NewEgg (almost as if I had already built it!), and I'm finding that I don't want anyone to tell me to change (my stupid pride...). So, I want to break out of that and keep receiving suggestions.

I've looked at other PSU's, but I am just so overwhelmed.

I really love having the HX520w in my RC690. It's very easy to fit all the cables though the hole in the motherboard tray for easy cable routing, the P4 connector will reach the CPU header up top of most motherboards except those with large MOSFET coolers, and if you're running a light enough setup, you can get away with using only two modular cables (three is more realistic though).

EDIT: oh I think I found my mistake. Instead of a single cpu as in 1 cpu in all I put quad cpu as in 4cpu in all right.

Yeah, you have to read the fine print right under it. So, just choose Single.
