19C Idle e2180?!?!?! - Page 2

Man those are some crazy temps, this seems more reasonable.

Nah, my computer sits underneath my window. It was cool outside, and I had my window open. I was just seeing how you guys would react to my screenshots. But after I put a fan on my HR-05, I have noticed a little bit of a temp decrease when my room is more close to 68F. (and that with a crappy Shin-Estu job) But yeah, my temps are pretty good due to airflow on this case. Even when my room did reach 80F, my temps were only max of 50C (when orthos testing overnight)
But yeah, I saw that was I was like Holy crap, I have to get a shot of this. Amazing temps!
My idles are like at 29C with a more "warmer" ambient

A 4°c delta above ambient is phenomenal on air.
.. its got to be colder than that in the room. 4c delta at idle is crazy low.

Was what I was thinking too. 'Course he is only at 1.32vcore...

All M0 steppings which the E2180 is an M0 are 100C Tj max. Use CoreTemp 0.96 if you can find it, if you can't find it I can upload to FileFront later if you want. I had months of disscussions with the CoreTemp devloper and managed to get him to change M0 Tj max to 100C, since then he changed it back for an unknown reason and does not seem to believe any of the proof I show to him.

I know this is like XP vs Vista.. this battle for 85 or 100C Tj max for M0's has been going for a while now, but Tj max for M0 steppings is indeed 100C! So add 15C to those core temps.

To verify your self and to learn how to "properly" read your temps refer to the guide in red lettering in my sig.

GigaByte is indeed correct.

The M0 stepping is very similar to the G0 stepping. They're max endure temperature is 72C, which only M0 and G0 has.

ALL E2180 are M0 stepping, and their T-Junction is 100C, not 85C. Like GigaByte has said, if your CoreTemp is detecting only 85C, add +15C for the TJ to be at 100C and add +15C to every temperature that is be read.

well, I have the latest core temp version (downloaded straight off their site) It is 0.96.1
http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
If you have a version that reads 100C for Tj. Max, I would be more than happy to try it again (I just opened my window, and the cold air fell onto my computer, giving me very good low idle temps, it's not wrong, just not true) But as I revealed later, I just had very cool air falling from my window into the intake of my computer. It's right, just not a constant running temp.
