You know I think you did well on this and your color choice is awesome. I think you deserve some reppage for all your hard work.

I'm curious if it is really beneficial to separate the PSU from the rest of the case if you're water cooling, as the case should remain fairly cool.

I didn't put it there for cooling, i didnt like being able to see all of the wires when i look down at my computer, so i put it there because aesthetically it is pleasing.

how much work is involved in rewiring the open switch on a cd drive. Great idea and I'd like to know if I can borrow the concept if it seems plausible.

I'm contemplating the very same thing right now.

It wasn't hard at all if you know how to work a soldering iron. You open the drive up and remove the bottom. Right where the open button is, there are 4 leads soldered in to the board. 2 are useless, 2 are for the switch. With a little testing i found out which actually went to the switch. I then took a power button from an old case and cut the wires. After drilling a hole and running that wire to the front of the drive under the pcb, I soldered it on to the leads. It took me about 20 minutes, soldering in the red led's inside the drive took a lot more work. Good luck guys!! I leaned how to do this from a guide I read on here a few months ago, can't seem to find it now though. Hope that helps!
