Quake 4 on Vista 64 bit

Thread Starter
I have always enjoyed the quake games. Now that I finished my first build I am anxious to try out Quake 4 on my new rig. I just bought Q4 from newegg for $10 free shipping! I thought it was a pretty good deal.

Anyway. I am running vista 64 bit, and I was wondering if there were others out there running Q4 on vista and how well it ran. Is there anything I need to change in order for it to run smoothly? The game doesn't specifically say it supports vista so I don't know

Well I own Vista x64 and haven't had an issue with any game yet. ::keeps finders crossed:: It even played Starcraft without me having to change anything.

I have Quake 4 on my laptop since it is a fun game that doesn't require a CD in the drive so it is portable. However, I am using Vista 32 on that machine yet. Still, I haven't had any problems.
