also easily upgradable. should offer about the same performance as clinic's setup. the fuzion block is slichtly better than this, but the pump in this kit is stronger than the DB-1. you can add a second rad later on, in case you want to add your GPU to the loop some day, or perhaps your chipset with an MCW-30.

Wow O.O $130, and to think i was prepared to spend $250.... so tell me, would i have to mount this on the outside of my case? (the raditior) im worried about my case size, its only a mid tower,
so...

also.. is there a waterblock in there for socket AM2's?

I would be leery of that thing, a couple of guys here have had major leaks with them between the pump and block on the CPU...There was one guy here that had good luck with his...You cant pay any attention to guys like him either, hes not a water cooler he just likes to hang around and spam up threads...

Yeah take your time and look around a little before you spend your $$$...

Yeah I just cant suggest those to anyone since we had 2 guys here with failures....The block and pump are made together and they both had bad leaks after a day or two..And like I said one guy is having good luck and really likes his...So who knows, but you should at least know that...

Both Chiel and Clinic have posted some solid ideas. Either setup will be fantastic, will be relatively easy to implement and are made of top quality components.

lol @ the thread spammer comments.

I'm going to personally test the swiftech apogee drive and see how it fairs.

ive been looking at a bunch of diffrent systems from newegg, like the Gigabyte Galexy 2, or thermaltakes Bigwater 760i, but i have also thought about buying a bunch of parts, and building a costume watercooling kit...

i would perfer not to spend more than $250... im not planning on watercooling my GPU anytime soon...

I know little to nothing about Watercooling, so what would be best for me
What is your goal? If it's to increase performance, your $250 can be spent much better elsewhere. If you're simply wanting to buy watercooling for a hobby, then go for it, but I suggest cooling a video card instead of a cpu.

Yeah I don't think its a real sound thing when you have someone telling someone to spend their hard earned $$$ on this or that when they have never even WC'ed a freaking tea cup.Or do this or that to your loop when they have never even touched one...They should at lest have enough integrity to preface their statements with the fact they aren't a WC'er, anything less is just lame spam...There are plenty of actual WC'ers that can help and are glad to help here...

Honestly, im looking into this as a small hobby, i might plan on watercooling my GPU's, but not for awhile.

This is basicly, so i can run my computer cooler, since my room is a giant heater...

also when i go to my friends annual lan parties i can say "i have watercooling, your still on air? ha!"

so, nothing to "extreme", just enough to beat air cooling.

You can always get more for your $$$ by piecing one together but if your not really looking for high clocks these aren't bad..

An inexpensive kit like this will get you started...Swiftech Apex Ultra H20-220 With Apogee GT.It has the "B" version of the D-5 pump which doesn't have as much flow...But it s a good solid rig that can be easily upgraded...

For a little more I like this a lot better since it has a Fuzion CPU block and a good flowing DDC pump...Fuzion Kit....With this you wouldn't need to upgrade yuor pump if you add your GPU blocks....Which you might not need to on the other one either unless your looking for higher clocks...I'd get the 320 rad option with this kit so you will have enough rad with a GPU to....

Hers some stuff that you might like to read and I'll leave you my cleaning and set-up PDF also....Read through all the stickies here to there is a lot of good stuff in them...

How often do you see yourself moving it from location to location? You're definitely going to want it 100% contained inside the case and the rad mounted on the back or top as well.
