Looks like it's a HDD review day, here's WD's answer to Samsung F1's HDD from the technological pow: a 320GB/platter disk that performs really well.

I was very excited when I read about this development from WD, unfortunately the access times are terrible. The drives transfer rates and burst speeds are among the leading drives available, but the high seek rates could cripple load times.
