You can up the fsb in your bios but don't go over 60c on load.

I have an e4300 running @ 3.2Ghz right now. My motherboard is really what helps me get that high (Gigabyte DS3) coupled with good cooling (Tuniq Tower). My stock temperatures are about the same as yours, and overclocked its about 5 degrees Celsius hotter.

I would tinker around with some of the overclocking settings on your bios (if any) if you're just looking for a modest overclock. Keep the multiplier at 9 and raise the FSB little by little.

i had mine at 3.33GHZ at 1.575v. that was hard to keep cool at 60c full load on water.

but that was on water cooling.
erm....3.00GHZ is good at 1..5v.

but that was a while ago.

Sounds like you had a bad chip! I had mine at 3.2GHz at 1.4v.

I wouldnt recommend going over 1.375v with a stock CPU cooler.

Have you guys noticed or i am wrong that he is using a MB that cant be OC. Its a Siemenc Computer, just like HP and Dell which have locked Bios so no point on overcloking cause it cant.

Yeah, thats why I included the BSEL mod. With that, he can force his CPU to boot at 266 FSB. This mod is perfect for the OEM systems like Dell, HP etc. I have personally had sucess with this mod on some systems I've worked on recently.

Yea, the BSEL mod is his best bet, won't force him to have to get a new cooler either as the stock will handle it fine and give him the 2.4Ghz he is wanting.
