If blu-ray players include Blu-Ray computer drives, then that's wrong, you can get a Lite-ON Blue-Ray drive for $150 at Newegg.

Im talking about stand alone...you'll still have to have a pc to put the drive in..i know everyone has a pc but still...not next to the tv.

Good Choice! I Myself use the PS3 Primarily for movies and i see no cons at all, although my TV is 1080i and 40" but i sit close to it and the quality is excellent and sony put one of its best blu-ray players in the ps3 so i doubt you would be disappointed and the games on it are awesome, I have Devil May Cry 4 Call Of Duty 4 Warhawk and Resistance, which is only 4 games vs my 20 Blu-ray movies

PS3 HANDS DOWN,best deal as for now.
Blu-ray player/next-gen console,you can't go wrong with that combination.

if you could get a 20/60 that has backwards compatibility but that's gonna be hard. 40gb for not saving movies.. and then just upgrade the drive later. My 20gb has a 250gb hd now and i save all my divx movies on it and they play like a champ

It would be unwise to get anything but a PS3... It's so much more then a bluray player for the price of one. In addition, with updates (which can be done easily) you will be able to update to bluray 2.0 when it comes out. Other players might not allow this, or have trouble.
