Is the e4600 any better overclocking wise? Also, what would be the best board to overclock those two?

The E4600 has a higher multiplier so it doesn't require as good an FSB to overclock and hence you can cheapen your ram. As for motherboard, have zero complaints with the P35-DS3 so far

Really don't know. I bulit several rigs for friends with one 4500 and two 4600s . The 4600could not pass 267, not even 1MHz. It seems the fsb is getting lower as the multi is up. Maybe you have luck to pick a nice OC monster.

Don't feel like ponying up the $200 for the e8400 and I was thinking of messing with a board other than the DS3L. My Tuniq blows for cooling the e4500 though. 1.4v, 3.35ghz, over 60 deg C in ORTHOS. Idle at 35-37. Thinking bout going to the Nirvana.
