My watercooled P182 - Pump died.... - Page 2

Cheers Ira, i'm not 100% sure I like it at the moment I think it needs something else, oh yeh I know, a second loop

Was thinkin about upgradin to a TC PA120.3 but after seeing the sort of temperatures i'm gettin I really don't think I will bother.
Aqua Computer = fine German engineering anyway so I don't think i'll see much difference.

@ Dark Ninja
I just took some for you howver it's 3pm at the moment so it's daylight outside.
I won't be using UV cathodes in the rig as the blue side panel will probably block most of the effect out. I've got a load of 5mm White LEDs soldered, just need to find time to braid them all now. But yeh in answer to your question it is Feser 1 Black.

I don't blame you I would get that quad on its own loop to if your wanting to max your clocks...

They have some decent stuff I guess, looks like that rad is doing you well.....I always wanted one of their first Cuplex's, you know that one that looks like a little fire plug? I have no idea why I would like the looks of that but I did......Are they still optimizing all their blocks for 1/4" and 3/8" tubing? Thats the main reason I never tried any of it...I don't mix low flow and high flow parts..

I am waiting to see how these new pumps hold up.Alphacool AP1510 ...I might try 2 of those in series next time I need some pumps....Martin did a flow test on Krigens (SP) pump and the freaking things are the next Iwaki killers it looks like.......I might not need a pump for a long time though this Iwaki I have now its built like a tank....

yeh it is.. and I am slightly worried about it.

It's not the GFX block, I think it's the tubing from the CPU to GPU thats pushing it towards the floor!! Need about 10mm taking off the tube but cba re-doing it at the moment.

@ Ira - From what I can see Aqua Computer are finally coming round to using G1/4 Threads instead of their previously favoured G1/8.
Their sexy 8800 Full Cover block used G1/4 threads so it's good to see they are starting to head in the right direction.

The rad itself would of fit but no not with the fans. I would have to swap it with a Black Ice GTS or an XSPC RS rad in order to fit both and I didn't want to.

It's workin well at the moment though, keeping my Quad idling in the 20's so can't really complain.
I don't think it will be stayin in this case all that long, I've got a TT Mozart downstairs thats not been used since I powder coated it however i've also got a G70 and PC343 with my name on it so I really don't know at the moment.

@ Motoh - Cheers dude

Thats good, it seems like that rad isn't optimized for 1/4" tubing either since its cooling well for you...You like those full cover blocks don't you......Nothing wrong with that if its what you like...Like me i don't even think I'm WC'ing if I don't have bunch of high cfm fans going, whether i need them or not....

Hehehe yup I love my Full Cover blocks, this is why I need to change cases.. need to get it on show somehow.
Currently toying with the idea of puttin mirror acrylic on top of my soundcard in order to catch a cool reflection of it somehow.

Was just speakin to someone on MSN earlier and he might be buying this case off me (or my TT Armor) so I may not need to bother with the mirror idea.

On a side note this is what I did tonight.... BRAIDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice job......Thats a pretty pile of DDCs....Hey I don't know who else to ask this, on the EK tops you can get them in 1/4 thread or 3/8...On the ones with 3/8 threads does it have a straight shot at full size into the center hole in the impeller or does it reduce back down to a smaller size to try to increase velocity? And is the inlet ringed on the inlet or is it just cut flush to the inside of the top on either of the tops? Thanks
