I see better hitboxes in the source engine. 1.6's are horrible, thats why its so much harder because you have to learn that the hitboxes are off of the body by a couple inches.
Most of that sounds true besides hitboxes being off inches...lol no. And more people don't play it because of their computers, worst excuse ever.

Source is retarded.

1.6 Takes real skill.

There are so many nubs playing source its not funny.

My computer can run source no problem, and whenever I play source i'm like 13-1. The hitboxes are terrible, the graphics are good, but the gameplay is just bad. The nades are retarded -- you could throw a nade and have it directly hit someone, but no, it wont even touch them. CZ is bad as well. It's like a bad version of 1.6. Same problem with nades. I do like the hitboxes in CZ though.

I love playing source for the graphics, but I often times get frustrated because of the long wait times/amount of nubs/endless team flashes (boy do they ever take long, and is it ever hard to dodge them, even when you're fully turned around). Which eventually leads me to cursing and logging off to play 1.6.

All in all 1.6 will always own, at least for me anyway. Favorite game of all time.
Just a comp.

Well then the server has to add that, I assume, because unless they randomly decided to release a patch for it very recently that allowed that, most servers don't have that feature in 1.6.

Truly though. Source owns. It has better graphics (which makes a huge difference) and way less hackers. = P

Source > 1.6

I like Source better, but I don't see a problem with people playing both versions.

ok fine, cms! instead of inches its w/e.

How is that a lame excuse? Don't bull**** me, I have friends that are the perfect example. got a friend named dan, claimed that the game was "laggier and not as smooth as 1.6" I went over to his house, and saw that in directx 9 he was gettin about 20 fps. with his radeon 9250 so I changed it to directx 7 he gets likes 50-60 and now loves the game.

Another perfect example to reinforce this is Counter-Strike Online, Wasn't it made over the internet because people have ****ty computers?

tensionz, man you are really generous offering to buy all of the people who can't play new computer setups. you deserve at least 500+ reps for that

LOL.

Dust2 is Dust2 no matter what. Size is the same. Same for all the other maps.
