Centurion 534: How many fans?

Thread Starter
I just finished reading a lot of reviews about the 534, and it seems that some 534's are shipped with 2 fans, and some are only shipped with one. Some are shipped with a front fan with blue led's, and a side fan, and some are only shipped with a front fan with blue led's, and an exhaust fan.

NewEgg claims that it has a fan on the side, and one in the rear. Yet, there are 2 photos which contradict this.

One reviewer basically said that the front merely has LED's, while the fans came installed on the side and rear. Others said that it comes with a front blue led fan, and a rear fan.

So, does anyone have the inside scoop as to what's up? I just sent an e-mail to NewEgg asking to see if they can give me a sure answer on this too. I really want to order this case, unless there is a better one with blue led lights in the front for around the same price.

Oh, and here's my planned rig in case you want to know what I'm sticking in this thing. I should be able to buy all this in April.

(Cooler Master Centurion 534)
Silverstone ST50EF 500w
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L
E2180
Tuniq Tower
Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB)
250GB SATA Barracuda OEM
EVGA 8600GT SSC
Samsung SATA 20x DVD±R OEM
ASUS 16X SATA DVD-ROM (48X CD-ROM) OEM
One 18" Round Okgear IDE/ATA 33/100/133 cable for better looks and air-flow.

I'm tempted to go with 90-degree angle SATA II round cables as well just because I'm a little unsure about their internal 3.5 bays facing the panel like that. But of course, I suppose the mobo's stock cables should be just fine.

Anyway, what do you know about this case's fan situation from experience?

Bump. I hope I'm not annoying (if I am, then I have to be told - seriously, I do).

It my opinion, it doesn't matter which fans are included. The stock coolermaster fans are terrible. The 120mm fan that came with my Centurion 5 pushed 13cfm...

Just buy some better fans once it comes.

Hmm, I liked my CM fan that came with my Cent 5, nice and quiet, but that system is not OC'ed much, so heat is not a problem.

That is one of the things with neweggs pics, they sometimes come from different items of the same product, and then some of the people that review things there are retarded.

Well, if the 534 only comes with one fan, then I'm going to buy like an 80mm for the side, and a 120mm for the rear, or whatever the case ends up having.

So, being that this is a budget rig, I want to know who are like the top 3-5 case fan manufacturers are. NewEgg shows 43 different case fan manufacturers , so I have no idea where to begin. But I can handle roughly 3-5. I'm looking for the absolute best bang for my buck.

Ultimately, I want to learn as much as I can about case fans so I can carefully make a wise, informed decision, as if I have a lot of experience.

How many fans is the Centurion 534 coming with these days? The pics at NewEgg show both 1 and 2, and the specs say 2. The same is even true at CoolerMaster.com. Every review I've read seems to say 1, and I'm not referring to the NewEgg reviews. But again, NewEgg and CoolerMaster.com say the specs are that it includes two 120mm fans.

You're annoying !

Lol, sorry I had to. Honestly though....
Have you checked the manufacturer's page? Maybe they'd have a better idea than newegg? Also, what's wrong with just replacing the horrible stock fans anyway with all new ones? That way you know that you're covered for fans. Get some nice Thermaltake Thunderblades , you can't go wrong with them, they look sexy and blow TONS of air .

Yeah, I did check the manufacturer's page. I said "the same is true at CoolerMaster.com".

I'm looking for an owner who recently purchased this from NewEgg to tell me what it comes with. But maybe I should make a thread on which fan manufacturers I should look at, and which ones I should avoid, etc.

Bump. All I want to know is this: For those of you who've recently purchased the 534 from NewEgg, how many fans did it come with, and where were they located?
Heya, mine came with 2, one on the side and one on the rear. I can't seem to fit the one they sent with it in the front though....if anyone has any suggestions....
