Right, spec is in my Sig, still cant get my ram to run 1066hmz yet... but i followed the overclock guide and changed the following

3DMard06Score
Before: 9298
After: 13588

CPU Config
Disable C1E State
Disable Execute Disable Bit
Disable Virtualization Tech

Standard CMOS
Diable Floppy

Advanced
Disable HPET

Voltages
Memory 2.1v
CPU 1.36250 (Going for 3.2 for now)

FSB/Memory
Set memory clock mode to licked & sync
FSB/QRD: Set to 1600 (400FSB) <<< Could not see where it would say 400FSB anywhere??
CPU Mutiplyer x8 for 3.2Ghz

Memory Timings
4-4-4-8-1T

System Monitor
Dynamic Fan Manual

PNP/PCI
Set to PCIEx

Now before overclock my idle temp was 35c and it is now 44c, does this sound alright. how do i test my temp under load? and whats the safe temp i can push my CPU at considering i use my pc day to day

Funny it was only around 9000 to start off. I have a much similar setup and got 11000 everything at stock then hit just about where you are once OC'd at 3.6.

No you're fine.

You have your FSB and RAM clocks in what is called "linked and synced" and the ideal "link and sync" is a 2:1 ratio, like you have.

I presume you've run stability tests though?

If not, run a couple more 3DMark06 tests in a row, then throw SuperPi at it and then use Prime95 stressing all 4 CPU cores for a good few hours. If your PC doesn't crash during that time, your overclock is stable and you're set for leaving it at 3.6Ghz 24/7.

The last thing to check is your CPU cooling. I'm not familiar with that specific cooler, but as long as your Q6600's temp doesn't exceed 55º or so (under full load) you're good.
