It doesnt come close to the performance of the 9600 3870 or 8800.

So far it looks like the 9600 is cheapest. For about ~$30 more you can get an 8800gt that has about 15% more performance if i remember correctly.

If you don't plan on SLI EVER, then go with the 8800GT. But if you think you may consider it, 9600GT scales amazingly well. Better then everything else atm.

EDIT: that gigabyte one is a 256mb version! For now best sub-200 card would be HD 3870. I've heard those can really OC once unlocked from the bios the MSI one is sub-200 after MIB but w/ shipping it's over 200. and w/ tax, forgettaboutit
The 9600GT is on par/faster than the Hd3870. And cheaper. There's no "imho" about it. It's just fact.

Not worth it unless it's a GTS for $100 or less. Go the proven route with 8800GT.

If you have a CrossFire mobo, get two HD3870s, if you have an SLI, go for the 9600GT's, if you have a single slot or only want to buy a single card, 8800GT.
