ooo a fellow aussie

This Chip can hit pretty high (3.6-4.0ghz depending on ure cooling and board )

Not too sure with ure board

Well if u dont post or even get a boot to windows voltages might need to be upped

Download Orthos and CPUZ and Core temp to Monitor ure temps

Mine went to 3.55ghz without any voltage increase, I'm happy with 3.5

Yeah like monkmachine I was able to hit 3.65ghz stable on stock voltage(1.35v). Temps were high though (65c load)

Right now I'm at 3.2 at 1.175vcore with a 29C idle. Which I find pretty darn reasonable.

EDIT: I don't know if you should up the voltage unless you're watercooling.. Anything over 3.85(which is the max I got to but temps were incredibly high) is unneeded. I'd say 3.5ghz-3.6ghz is a good target. But if you're going to raise the voltage I'd say 1.4 MAX. I'm sure there will people that will tell you otherwise..

But that's my experience =P

Upping voltage is fine aslong as you have good cooling, in your case watercooling should give you alot of headroom there.

Download Prime95, and if you can run that for 8 hours id say your CPU is 'stable'. some people do more or less...i like to do a minimum of 6. If you cant get it to run (get an error) then your CPU is unstable and then u up the vcore.

And if your Mobo is anything like mine you will be able to get 500FSB WITHOUT any nb voltage increase
