Q6600 quad huh?

hey guys

i have a problem with overclocking my CPU.
i can clock it to 2.7ghz without any problems and it runs stable bit when i try to clock it to 3ghz my pc dsnt boot it just gats stuck at the POST screen.

Any advice mayb my voltages r wrong or i did something wrong.

BTW im a noob at OCing...

Not sure, that seems like a high enough voltage just for 2.7g. I don't know much about quads so you may want to wait for someone else that knows better.

2.7 i can clock to but its when i go to 3 that its dsnt work.

I still think the voltage looks fine... it may be your RAM frequency. What is your RAM at?

that board is hard to oc a quad on.some have got it pretty high but...I had it.Use the link above.

What brand are the rams? What ratio/multiplier do you have the rams set to?
