I was shocked to see how many of these aftermarket coolers just totally suck.. It's a bit disappointing..

They rarely test the TRUE. I don't know why. Works perfect for me. But that IFX-14 is next on my list.

Same here, but I hear its only about 2C-4C colder.

I don't agree with how they are evaluated. A cooler like the Noctua is rated more highly overall than the TRUE (which cools much better) just because it installs more easily? Please! If the motherboard has to come out to put the cooler on, well that's just how it is. Large coolers need to have backplates to support them.

interesting though how badly the Zalman performs.

Wouldn't be so surprised to see that Zalman sucking balls, it just blows hot air onto the mobo, just like the stock intel cooler does...

well, that cooler looks like it sucks anyway.

Most ZALMAN products are very good.

I don't really give a crap about the overall scores, but the piss poor design on some of the coolers (like the one that falls apart because they put screws into the fins and expected it to hold up!!), and the horrendous temps on others is just awful.

Like that golf ball cooler.. WHY oh WHY would you cover the fins with a piece of plastic, and leave like 5 tiny slots on each side!
