Financially, you're right, it's more expensive.
I agree with one through 4 but the last part bothers me. How is PC gaming more expensive? 99 percent of the console fanboys cry "$$$$" when it comes to PC gaming yet none of them take into consideration how much their, even decent, TV was. Sure the console alone with some controllers and some games may not run over 500-700 bucks, but how can you call PC gaming expensive when you go out and buy a 1500-3000 dollar HD TV to play your console on??? Even a decent screen is going to run you 600-700 bucks so that already puts the total up around 1300 dollars and that is for a cheapo console setup. They cannot just brush the cost of their TV under the rug and then cry "$$$" when they see a nice gaming PC. I know I have seen plenty of console setups that far out surpass my high end rig, price wise, and I for one will take the high end do-it-all rig anyday.
Maybe they brush that cost under the table because they play on mommy and daddy's TV...since they still live at home.
