Hey Guys,

Ive been post whoring the last few days about my setup. Just wanna make sure Im on the right track. My Budget is only $1000 and I live in canada so the pricing is a little diffrent. Anyway, cost aside what do you think of this setup, Im looking for 3.6 OC on a Q6600.

Q6600 GO
TuniQ Tower 120.
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
Evga E-GEFORCE 8800GT 600MHZ 512MB 1.8GHZ DDR3
G.SKILL F2-6400CL4D-4GBPK PC2-6400 4GB 2X2GB DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-12
Antec 900 case

And Im hooking it up to my 32" Sony LCD

is this ram any good?

I don't know about the ram.. but the rest of it looks pretty good to me. Sweet case choice too. Gotta love the giant 200mm fan on the top.

I've seen the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme do [edit: considerably] better than the Tuniq in benchmarks. I was going to go for the Tuniq on my upcoming wolfdale build, but after seeing the TRUE go for the same price...

If you want to overclock the **** out of an 8800gt, go for a Galaxy. It's got an onboard jumper allowing you to adjust the voltage and give access to increased overclocks.

Don't much like the look of the 900.

But other than that, looks good.

BTW, don't use NXsource. Use their prices to pricematch at NCIX.com

NXsource are dinks. Slow shipping and they're customer service is ****e. Ncix deserves your business, they've always treated me good.

MANY times. Saved close to $500, maybe more with it in the past year. They have to approve every match, but use Shopbot.ca, copy and paste the model/part # and get the cheapest source.

Build looks good. I don't know much about the mobo so I can't comment. If you don't get lazy, the case is good. Otherwise it's a pain. After a few weeks...the Antec Nine Hundred is a dust magnet. I haven't cleaned mine for a couple of months.
