I have an 8800GT, how can i check how many amps its getting from my PSU on everest? or can i even do that?

I don't think you can do that, are you having issues that you feel could possibly caused by your video card being too much for your psu? If so, you might want to chuck that 430 watt psu in the trash and get a 550 for cheap.

Unless u face any kind of problems (like freezes or u unable to overclock the card) it's fine

There's no way software can tell you that. You need a clamp ampmeter or an inline ampmeter for that info.

yea a friend of mine gave me his coolermaster 500watt PSU he's had since december, it was free so why whine it has 2 12v each @ 16Amps so im wandering if thats 2 low because the 8800 requires 26Amps on the 12v i hear
