Ignore those silly GX2 results.
They're from China (Chiphell), as this is where the cards are manufactured (at least the PCB components and such), so they're usually the first to get the results.
Chiphell is one of the most reputable sites on the internet........just have to use google translate.

However if you're referring to the downclocked 8800GTS SLI tests, then I think they have some validity, but not much. It could really go either way for performance in reference to the SLI setup.....

@ 800x600 or 640x480? or it didn't happen.......I mean others are having to run Tri-SLI Ultra setups to get 30-40 FPS with Crysis maxed, so I'm not about to believe you're running it maxed.

1680x1050 Maxed at 4xaa playable framerates 20 to 25. And You evidently have clue about Crysis... On top of that after the first patch there was an easy 30 percent performance gain overall. By the way don't believe me? Go ahead and ask the 25+ members who also have or do play it maxed at playable framrates.

Just because your rig can't handle it does not mean another's cant. I see you have ATI, we'll sorry bub that's the problem. nVidia released 4 different beta drivers JUST FOR Crysis ALONE. You don't get that kind of support from ATI.

Edit: I see where you may have thought somthing else.. by max I mean everything set to very high (maxed out that way). That's not including AA/AF. Those I kept around 2x to 4x. I noticed a major hit in FPS going to 4x however. So I kept it at 2x for the most part. Once the patch came out things got much better. I never could notice a difference however even with aa/af off..

I have a similar system to but with higher clocks. Crysis is unplayable using Ultra High Shaders and many other ultra high settings.By unplayable, I mean it is a slide show.

I would say my system is better than yours and I can't comfortably max out crysis at 1680 * 1050 without the FPS dropping into the twentys, even with all the latest updates, patches, hotfixes, drivers, you name it.

Well other then the fact I don't know what to tell you folks, I can and do... Maybe I'm comfy with 20 to 25ish fps.. I use all the settings at Ultra High in 64bit mode and play nicely... Granted there are times in game during a major battle it can get quite slow... But for the most part it's been good. I beat the game and sold it to CD Druid who also plays it. Are you guys sure you have aa/af either off or on 2x?

I find that odd that you have a difficult time with it.. Especially after the first patch. Very odd.
