Well, I didn't read but the first few lines because this shouldn't even be an issue, if you have to physically be at the machines.
I have a large client that deals with Verizon contracts. I had to have my background checked, go get my finger prints done, and have to physically sign in when I enter/leave the server room. I'm in here now and there's never more than 2 allowed in at one time. Only 3 people have access to this room. And it's nice and cozy at 70*F
THAT'S how security is supposed to be kept up if you have sensitive information.
