E4400 problems. suggestions please.

so i have pinmodded my E4400 to 3.33GHz with 1.55vcore... but i am trying to lower that vcore, cause i'm a bit paranoid... it runs stable at that vcore but yea...

so.. i lowered it to 1.4vcore and it shows the first loading screen then gets to the windows logo screen then shutsdown/restarts... with 1.45v... i got it running for a bit... running stable for like an hour before i tried doing the 1.4v again.. so anyway, i've been trying to do the 1.45v pin mod again but..... it just doesn't load past the windows logo screen..

anyone got any ideas why?

Thats a pretty big overclock for a E4400.

Honestly, I would not run that processor above 1.5v even on water. Lower the OC down to 3.2 or 3.1ghz and get a more reasonable vcore.

Anything after 3ghz is going to make absolutely no difference in most games, only in 3dmark06. Its just bragging rights after that point.

Check all your pins and make sure nothing got messed up in the process. I would suggest removing all mods done very carefully and start over from scratch to get back to 1.45v

what i find odd is that it boots up just fine is safe mode.. but when i try to run it normally.... it just restarts... and for the pin mod i mean bsel mod... i used conductive ink

EDIT: man.. i really can't tell if my cpu is 1.325 or 1.35v.... cause it worked with one before and it works with the other now... in anycase.. it loads into windows again.. finally!

EDIT2: ok now its just weird.. cpu-z is reading my core voltage at 0.128v... like ridiculously low voltages... as is speed fan... not too sure about what core temp says.. but yea....
